Hi Chris, I’ve collected the glass from the Service Center yesterday and fitted the new glass. Collecting and fitting the glass was straight forward, I did not not encounter any challenges. While I am used to using butyl tape to install windshields, the installation seemed to be straight forward. I truly appreciate your advice on the urethane and installation. Hulett, San Diego, CA Hi Chriss, I just wanted to let you know that everything went well with the replacement of my 2001 Chevy Express van passenger side window. The service center had the replacement glass ready and waiting for me when I arrived to pick it up. A quick inspection of the replacement (as you had suggested), a flash of my ID and my signature got me on the way in less than five minutes. Installing the window was a snap. The pointers you gave me along with the diagram made the job go without a hitch. It took me three times longer to clean up the glass from the broken window than it did to install the new replacement. The three quotes to have someone fix it for me ranged from $205 to $235. So, I guess the best part was the $145+ that I saved by doing it myself. Thank you for your attention to detail and the confidence you gave me to tackle a job of which I had no previous experience. Sincerely, S. I live in California and Able Auto Glass is in Texas, I was able to go online, request my glass, receive a call back, be given multiple payment methods. I chose Google Pay which was very easy to setup. I was given a location close to my home to pickup my glass and was given tips and advise throughout the entire process which took less than a day.
